Why do we say that? It’s because people usually end up at a CR meeting due to a need they feel that is related to a hurt, habit or hang-up. They’ve generally had this for a long time, tried multiple avenues to seek help, and all the while, life just doesn’t seem to get any better.
We believe that when the time is right, they will attend their first meeting. They will hear something that resonates with them—maybe something entirely new. Even if it isn’t new, there is no mistaking that transformational things are happening in and through this powerful ministry. All of this is no accident, but it is God’s healing power at work.
Why do we blog and what can you expect to find here if you follow us? Step 12 calls us to carry this message to others and to practice these principles in all our affairs. This blog is a vehicle for those who serve at Celebrate Recovery on the Plateau to share our struggles and victories so that we may provide encouragement, strength, and hope for people on their journey to healing and wholeness.
Our blog will include reflective pieces related to the 12 Steps, inspiring stories of hope, teaching snippets from CR’s Recovery Principles and 12 Steps, occasional updates on our ministry, and whatever else the team feels inspired to write about God’s healing power and how it relates to recovery.
We hope you will sign up (on the right) to follow our blog and ‘like’ our Facebook page, Celebrate Recovery on the Plateau, to get the most out of your recovery experience. We are here to support you on your road to recovery. If you choose to join us at CR on the Plateau, or at another Celebrate Recovery, we know that, wherever you attend, it will not be an accident that you are there.CR Leadership Team
